Welcome to Queen Mary Public School!
We are pleased to provide an outstanding education at Queen Mary Public School for our students. We are an Intermediate School with grade 7 & 8 classes and provide French Immersion education. We have innovative programs that meet the needs of all our students and are taught by our dedicated and professional staff who care about your child. Our school provides extra-curricular opportunities that encourage the development of excellence, integrity and respect.
Our Board is focused on literacy, numeracy and character achievement by creating an environment where we are working together on our goal of success for every student. We also value the community partnerships and parent involvement which are so crucial to a successful education for our students.
We welcome your input and questions.
Regular updates, timelines and frequently asked questions and answers will be communicated
with families on a regular basis during the school year. We look forward to working together on this very exciting plan.

We are Writers!
Be sure to check out the Queen Mary Writing Anthlogy 2013 "Queen Mary Lives in Six Stories".
New submissions for the 2014 Anthology is now being accepted. Please visit DSBN website for your entry.
School Council is an excellent and rewarding way to become involved in your child's education. We meet to discuss issues, provide ideas, run events and consult with the Principal about school decisions. If you are interested in serving on Council, please call Ms Tisi at the school.
Did you know all Queen Mary students can buy healthy lunches in the Collegiate Cafeteria each day? Thanks to Mrs. Acott and the CI culinary program for the daily fare.
Each month, one homeroom class at Queen Mary school organizes and presents an assembly to kick off our monthly character ed focus. At this assembly, award winners for the previous month's focus are recognized. Character counts at QM.
